Botanical Inventories of Protected and Invasive Species

Specializing in precise environmental mapping, AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS provides accurate and verifiable inventories of protected (threatened, endangered, or otherwise State or Federally "listed") and invasive plant species.

AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS' teams together our degreed Botanists with our trained GIS Scientists and GPS Technicians, to effectively conduct species identification and accurate GPS mapping of protected and invasive plant species.

AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS has provided botanical inventory services for Federal and State agencies, public utilities, municipalities, and private land owners.

AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS' botanical staff has conducted hundreds of botanical inventories throughout the US to include California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, and Texas.

Our single largest botanical inventory was conducted for the US Forest Service, during which AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS identified and GPS mapped protected plant species within 2800+ acres of the Huron-Manistee National Forest, Michigan.

The identification and mapping of protected species by the experienced staff at AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS' has been required during our numerous projects involved with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

Our involvement with numerous projects concerning the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA) has also required our experienced staff to identify and map protected species, as well as invasive species.

AFFILIATED RESEARCHERS' GIS Scientists and Technicians utilize the industry's best GPS equipment, as well as the best GIS and CAD software to ensure accurate mapping and compatible data sharing.
