Affiliated Researchers provided environmental monitoring and construction management at a wetland mitigation site. This mitigation site had been previously constructed by another firm as part of a condominium development, however it was determined by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) that the mitigation site required corrective measures in order to meet statutory criteria.
Affiliated Researchers was contracted by the property owner to solve the respective problems, which required development of a corrective action plan under direct coordination with the MDEQ. Affiliated Researchers performed the necessary wetland mitigation monitoring and provided construction management in order to achieve statutory criteria.
Following the required amount of wetland mitigation monitoring and corrective measures planning, Affiliated Researchers supervised the needed construction at the mitigation site to achieve the successful results.
The final results were evaluated by the MDEQ, who provided Affiliated Researchers with a positive, “looks good” assessment. Affiliated Researchers also received the following gracious acclaim from the Board of Directors of the condominium association:
“I am so grateful for the work that you do and the team that you lead. Affiliated Researchers has offered our condominium association and golf course with a profound improvement. I truly believe that only with your expertise and guidance did this happen. I am so appreciative of the work, the plans, and the time that you offered to this project. It has truly improved the home ownership of our condos, and relieved our concerns for future erosion and flooding. You created a solution. THANK YOU!”
